Introducing the EVO Blue Pearl Edition

We hope you caught the recent announcement for the EVO64 "Blue Pearl" Edition, which is a reissue of an older prototype design*. We decided to make this board available to accommodate two major requests that we were hearing from the user community.

1. Can we have that EVO version that still had the through-hole chips and those big axial capacitors?

2. Oh, and we want even MORE hands-on DIY building, so please don't pre-solder any of the components ahead of time

Well, we think you'll agree that we've been listening!...

* PLEASE NOTE: 

• The Blue Pearl is a fully 100% DIY build, in that none of the electronic components have been pre-soldered. It will require expert level DIY skills to complete this build, due to the mix of both through-hole and tiny SMD components (see the EVO Blue Pearl product page for details)
• The Blue Pearl does not support many of the advanced features of the flagship EVO Production Rel 1 board, such as dual-SIDs, onboard Cartridge ROM images, or simple plug-and-play support for audio preamps (e.g., the NuTube64 and Triode64), although it is possible to retrofit some of these capabilities through add-on modules (see the EVO Blue Pearl product page for details)
